Welcome to NEETMate. By using our mentorship and notes marketplace you agree to the terms outlined below. These terms may evolve as the platform grows.
User roles
Mentors and mentees must sign in with Google and select the appropriate role. Accounts cannot switch roles within the MVP. Mentors are responsible for keeping at least one active service or note.
Bookings and sessions
All mentorship bookings are facilitated through NEETMate. Mentees select three preferred slots and complete payment in advance. Mentors must respond within 48 hours with a confirmed slot or one alternative. The first session of a Long Term Mentorship has an extended 72-hour response window. Sessions should take place only after confirmation.
Payments and fees
Mentees pay the mentor-set session price plus a universal ₹75 platform fee (plus applicable 18% GST) for single sessions. NEETMate retains a 15% commission on single sessions and the mentor receives 85% of their listed price per session. On the Long Term Mentorship (3-session bundle), the mentee receives a flat 11% discount, the mentor still receives 80% of their listed price per session, and NEETMate retains a 20% commission. Payouts to mentors are processed monthly after deductions for commission and any applicable penalties.
Long Term Mentorship
Each Long Term Mentorship grants 3 session credits with a single mentor, valid for 90 days from purchase. Unused credits expire at the end of the 90-day window and are not refundable in cash. Each redeemed credit creates a new booking tied to the same mentor and service. Recording add-ons purchased with a plan apply to all 3 sessions.
Digital products
Notes and other digital goods purchased through NEETMate are watermarked for personal use. Redistribution, resale, or shared access is prohibited.
Platform conduct
Users must maintain professional conduct during mentorship sessions and communications. NEETMate reserves the right to remove users who violate community guidelines or engage in fraudulent activity.
