We are committed to protecting your information while enabling efficient mentorship discovery and transactions. This policy explains how Neetmate handles data today.

Data we collect

During the MVP we authenticate exclusively through Google. We store your name, email address, Google identifier, selected role, and onboarding preferences such as exam focus, languages, and availability.

How we use your data

Profile information powers mentor discovery, booking coordination, payments, and personalised recommendations. We also use aggregated data to understand platform performance and reliability.

Payments and security

Transactions are processed by Razorpay. Neetmate does not store card or UPI credentials. We retain payment references to reconcile bookings, refunds, and mentor payouts.

Third-party services

Neetmate integrates with Google Identity Services for authentication and ZeptoMail for transactional email delivery. Each provider receives only the minimal data required to perform their service.

Your choices

You can request deletion of your profile or export of your onboarding data by emailing us. Some transactional records must be retained to comply with accounting obligations.
